PyVela Terms of Use

Effective date: 2 November 2026

These terms apply to your use of the PyVela app, published by LQR Consulting ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices for learning. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows, and you may not use it to harm others or the service.

Free plan and PyVela Pro

The free plan includes the introductory path, five new lessons per day, unlimited review, XP, streaks and badges. PyVela Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks all Python courses and unlimited lessons. The price and the billing period (yearly or monthly) are shown before you buy, in your local currency.

Features described as coming later may change before they are released and are not part of what you pay for today.

Learning content

Lessons and exercises are provided for education, "as is". We try to keep them correct but we do not guarantee that they suit every purpose. The built-in Python runs on your device and your results can differ from other setups. Many exercises are adapted from the open-source project Pythonlings (MIT licence, Copyright (c) 2026 Abhik Sarkar). The licence text is in the app, on the About screen.

Trademarks

Python is a trademark of the Python Software Foundation. PyVela is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Python Software Foundation.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and the app. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on this page. These terms are governed by the law of the country where LQR Consulting is established, without taking away the protection of your local consumer law.
